If you want to change your nickname or avatar, just tap on the experience bar in the upper left corner. You can choose from a variety of different icons for your profile photo and we will definitely add more in the future!

Note: if you're experiencing problems with changing your name in the game, please make sure you use the default keyboard. You can change it in the settings of your device. After you have changed your name, please wait for a few minutes and then restart the app.
