According to the My Cafe game rules the township leader is responsible for choosing a leader's assistant. Appointing any player to the leader's assistant's position, please remember that this player gets access to your township resources and can send them to his or her account too.

 

To avoid a situation when someone takes resources from your township and leaves it, we kindly recommend you to be very careful and appoint to this position only the player whom you know and trust. Thus you will be able so save your township resources.
